Slavery and Early Modern Philosophy: An NEH Institute for Higher-Education Faculty
June 16 – July 4, 2025
Georgetown University, Washington, DC
This 3-week Institute explores philosophical debates about slavery in Europe and North America in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries—a topic that scholars of philosophy have largely ignored so far. The Institute will be residential and take place at Georgetown University’s main campus (Hilltop Campus) in Washington, DC, from June 16 to July 4, 2025. Please visit About the Institute and Practical Information for details.
